This powdered laundry soap, made from our Just Plain Soap, is perfect for general purpose laundry and is allergen free for most people. Ingredients are basic and all-natural. Basic laundry soap is entirely unscented.
This laundry has all the cleaning power of laundry detergent, but does not suds in the same way.
Use as a powder or gel.
Can be used in the Montessori or other classrooms for the children's wash-work.
Use dry: *2 tablespoons* per load is all that is needed, with an occasional extra 1/2 - 1 tablespoon for heavy loads. Some people add another tablespoon of baking soda for the heaviest loads (diapers!).
Liquid or Gel Form: Instructions will be included with all new orders on how to turn the powdered form into a gel form and how to use it.
Quantity is by the cup. Each cup will do 8 normal loads.
This pricing is comparable to the usual price for the less expensive national brands of laundry detergent.
Lightly scented is available for a limited time only and in limited supply. Please indicate in comments if you would like this version and how much of your order to be scented vs unscented.
Shipping: Shipping is in a priority mail flat rate box, which can hold greater than 20 cups; 30 for a large flat rate box.
We will not ship this soap in gel form at this time.
