Language Arts album (Montessori guide, Montessori resource) is the foundational Montessori language experience for children ages 2.5-6, beginning with spoken language and working through exploration of sounds, early writing preparation and finally leading to exploration of their newly discovered reading and writing skills. 

Keys of the World Language Arts Album for the primary children (ages 2.5-6) utilizes the AMI approach to exploration of any language. Muriel Dwyer summarized this approach in a well-known booklet. 

This approach focuses on exploration and discovery, with key experiences. Children explore sounds aurally, then with all of the sandpaper letters, then they can write anything with the movable alphabet. This approach does NOT utilize the pink/blue/green series.
