These Montessori Decimal Checkerboard mats are a space and money-saving alternative to the wooden versions.

The printed fabric cloth can be rolled or folded easily and readily washed if needed.

This decimal checkerboard mat extends the child's work with the multiplication checkerboard mat - introducing and developing the concepts and skills of multiplying by decimal fractions.

Each mat is handmade to match AMI elementary materials as given in training.

NOTE: Beads and number squares NOT included (purchase separately or create them by hand; the beads could be from any set of Montessori beads. For home purposes, we recommend purchasing a decanomial bead bar set that includes 55 each of bead bars 1-10 so that it can be used for any of the math materials that require bead bars).
